Nice, is this the 1/48 resin or 1/72 by ARII?

Hi Mondo,

Jepot is correct, it is the 1/48 kit by ESCI.....sorry, forgot to put the scale goggles

Ramrod had to add new tires from his spares bin, as he mentioned the ESCI kit wheels had the spat covers.

Hi Mondo B,

Those kits will do for a PAF T-41 trainer. Just remove the spats on the wheels, and I saw some PAF T41 without the pointed "nose" on the prop......

Happy building!

mr. m.b.: if this is the same 1/72 kit that i did, make sure you do a very good dry fit on it. the wing, windshield and back window has a nasty misalignment which requires a lot of work. there is also a hole at the bottom of the fuselage for a stand which requires filling if you are not going to use it. the spats are molded in the wheels so i used an f-5 nose wheel assembly and tires from a huey skid transport attachment for the main mounts.

Napagkamalan ko noon na L-19 (O-1 Bird dog) yung T-41.Shocked

Ito yung nangyari:

This was prior to me acquiring the PAF 50th Anniv. book of Bert Anido and joining IPMS Philippines.

Oh well makes a nice what if. Smile

I used the 72 Scale Airfix kit, nawala na yung rear windscreen ng kit.

Regards to All.

MB i've been looking high & low for that 72 kit. lucky you.

Hi Mojo,

Nice paint job on your Bird Dog as a PAF trainer. You can always repaint it olive drab kung sawa ka na sa hi-vis Bird Dog mo...... mil wink
