Correct me if I'm wrong. What you actually have is a Fuji T3, Hasegawa kit #51805 1/72 scale.

This kit does have 3 blade props.

Good work on backdating the kit.

I also have one which is half built.

I have a problem with the balance. It's rear is heavy that when you set it down the nose goes up.

The raised panels is really bad on this one though.

hey mb,

you're right...it is from a T-3 Fuji kit...and it is a tail-sitter...used about 6x bashed 22.cal lead bullets on the nose to correct the balance...

old kit...raised panel lines...but i saw a re-issued version of this kit from hasegawa with 2x kits in one box...maybe that one has recessed panel lines...

lucky there's enough walk-around references out there like ARC and the PAF park...i've got another spare kit that i'm planning to do a camo scheme, as i've heard that this aircraft was once intended to be used in COIN operations...

Nice one and thanks for the tips. thumbs up I got one also. HMMM. Gives me an idea to do an entire wing presentation (SF-260, T-34, T-41) and the 105th S-211.

Hey folks,

Better shots...

A trainer aircraft derived from the Beechcraft Bonanza civilian plane which was used by the PAF in it's training squadrons during the 1960s.

The base kit for this project was the 1/72 Hasegawa T-3 Fuji trainer kit.   Painting was done with Alclad II aluminum and Gunze acrylics, which was finished off with oil wash and Mr Hobby powder pigments.

Decals are from Scalenutz and some are homemade.

Not much mods on this project, though I did use some lead counterweights as this kit was a tailsitter.

nice work, but that plane is so bland sa markings, sa totoo lang...

i have an old T34 by hase partly built and painted in the 3 color scheme but still too buzy to finish it; i also have the T3 kit but dont intend to build it for now.

again good work Mr G.  on your T34 Mentor!

agree! that is a good looking t-34. is a 1/72 sf-260 available? got an s-211, t-41, t-28, t-34, t-33, t-6. missing t-17 and the 260. will kitbash an upgraded marsh ov-10 when i get back. if i may share this with you: built an ov-10 back in the mid 80s. still remember how limited on paint, reference and materials i was back then. anyway, this particular model, along with about a dozen more were the only survivors out of about 100 1/72 kits. they were victims of the pinatubo lahar. when i went back home in mid 90s, i brought them back stateside, some in pieces, some broken but all mud covered. it was interesting to say the least , to peel off old paint, disassemble what one can, look for spare parts or, as in the case of the p-38, rebuild the broken booms using styrene and wood. somewhere along the way, the p-51, f-5, and ov-10 got paf markings. my wife said it would have been easier to build new kits and i agree. but these are a part of my history as i'm sure yours will be. have fun building...
