was going to sratchbuild a v-300 but saw this at walmart (remote controlled, 1/18)

would like to covert it to this (see below) but unlike the 1/35 scale, i need better details for the turret base. was looking at the m-113 from mindanao but they might be different based on photos on opus's site. will try to detail the interior of the turret too. any help is appreciated. thanks!

model mo yan? can you make the pics bigger?  the base is different from that of the FSV- what you are trying to make is the CSV.  The base is pointed, parang arrow... Shocked

(sir jepot, should have re read your post before continuing on with this project.)

well, this is where i am for now. would like some info please. i'm debating wether to remove the mount or leave it and scratchbuild an agl. did they ever mount an agl on the csv(1)?

also, the csv pic on this site seems to have a chamfer on the base (2) to clear the driver's hatch (3). can someone verify please.

managed to mount the motor to drive the turret. still have to figure out how to install a battery case for it. might also need some resistors to slow the traverse. also need to put a variable resistor to synch the tracks. its pulling to the right as of now. thinking of leaving the external fuel tanks on(4). as you can see, this project started more than a year ago. hope it doesnt take that long to finish.....

The base is pointed for PA 90s CSVs, not PSG '89 CSVs.

The 1 meter turret sizer looks very small.  And it has never had a 40mm AGL or MG mount in such CSV configuration.

the race is on!!!plano ko ring gumawa nyan
Nga pala for the 1meter turret with m113 cupoola use this turret base. The one you are making is for the PSG  version with original 1meter turret cupola. Hope this helps

THANK YOU!! going to start redoing the base on the r/c. below is the original 1/35 made a few years back based on the picture from sir o's site. and if you look closely at the real thing, it is marked lad on the right, just above the track. where there several configurations or was it an evolutionary thing?

Well,  i remember a supermarket  here in angeles city named Walmart, same emblem with the one in states, so maybe its authentic ...  but that was a long time ago...
