What is the brand of the decal paper you are using? My last one was so thick it was too late by the time it came out of the printer (smudges all over).

Sir I used dry transfer letters from woodland scenics,I cant print white letters with a regular printer,As I mention before one of the problem when your building AFP models is the lack of available decals

Sir Jep , Its you who started this addiction to our AFP models,....

well actually there are a lot of modellers ( and non-modellers ) who are interested in AFP subjects, yet, the lack of references, or decals hampers ones quest for such.  Even as a kid, me and homeboy, another poster here had been interested in such until well, slightly beyond middle age, we have finally been able to make our models in the subjects we wish, even print our own decals ( thanks to him) gather references ( thanks to this forum, the internet, hobby clubs, friends most specially the late Bert Anido ( sorry many hobbyists like me revere him so much, hence the highlight), and my being in the service.  Homeboy went a step further by making the afponline museum - this is supposed to showcase AFp topics in scale, but our buzy work schedules have prevented us from updating it.  me personally, i just make AFP oriented kits and by the time i realized it, almost the entire PAF is done in scale, along with the PMC; the PA is about halfway done, but the PN has along way to go, in scale that is...

so continue making these kinds of subjects - its not common, its ours at ika nga, tangkilikin ang sariling atin..... Shocked

Sir ,I think we have all the same interest in AFP models, As In my case I grew up in Capiz ,Home of the 3RD ID.I always admire  our soldiers everytime they have a parade or they pass by in our town,When I was 10 yrs. old I buy toy soldiers and Army Trucks and pretend they are from 47 IB,When I went to Manila I accidentally saw this Special Toy Center that sells  toys for military models and from that time on my love for this hobby started but due to financial constraints I was not able to build even a single model.Hangang Pangarap na lang.Fortunately the tides had change and I got a good job and I decided to pursue my hobby and promise to do PA vehicles as a humble tribute to our Brave Men and Women of  47 IB.So thats my story why 3RD ID  and 47IB is close to my heart.Im planning to join your IPMS BAC in the future maybe pag uwi ko sa Pinas.More Power to all of us,Mabuhay ang AFP

Sir Jepot, that is essentially my problem.  My M113 ACAV assembly has been done including the first color (JN Green as you recommended), but I'm having problems as to how I should proceed since there is no good pix on how camouflage [/b] is set-up.  Likewise with the FSV, assembly of the conversion platform will be implemented via Homer's web pictures...

Mostly tanchahan... so accuracy is likely to suffer Sad

Man, 47th IB.. I know a lot of guys there both NCOs and Junior officers.. Was under Roy Cimatu for a long time.. Most probably those Junior Officers when I was a kid were Colonels now.. We used to service their V150 and Eisenhower in our backyard talyer.. Usual problems is their CDI (current direct ignition) which is basically not fixable unlike the common "Contact Point" of Japanese engines.

Di bala ang 47IB sa Banga, Aklan? under by then Lt Col Roy Cimatu. Cover na part sang Antique and Aklan.

I still remember those days in the 80s and early 90s when the Neps are so strong in the area.. Remember the 3ID band during fiesta?
